The Billboard March

The Circus

The Billboard March was written by John N Klohr and dedicated to the amusement newspaper Billboard in 1901. Klohr wrote several other marches but it is this march which is best remembered. He was a native of Cincinnati Ohio, born in 1869, and lived most of his life in that city passing away in 1959. The march has been a favorite of circus bands for nearly 100 years.
